Meet Alex

Alex Westhaven is the horror/suspense pseudonym of Jamie DeBree, from Billings, Montana. She resides there with her husband and two over-sized lap dogs. Halloween
is her favorite holiday, and she has more than her fair share of
skeletons (and other body parts) in the closet.

The first time a book scared her silly was when she was around twelve years old. The book was Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (a Sherlock Holmes mystery), and she didn’t sleep much that night or the next.

Her favorite horror/suspense stories include:

Frankenstein (of course) by Mary Shelley
The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
Red Dragon by Thomas Harris
Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris
Anything by Edgar Allen Poe
Anything by Bentley Little

When not at the day job or busily writing more books, you’ll find her hanging out here, on Facebook, Twitter, or Scaryview Cemetery, her Halloween blog. Wanna keep up with new releases from Alex? Subscribe to the blog, or sign-up for her newsletter!
