Beet It releases in one week!
Tara, who you’ll meet next week in Beet It, has her own special relationship with beets, and even she isn’t quite sure what that means or how it works, but she’s a quick learner.
But I was thinking about the different ways one might hurt someone with a beet, and I came up with these for starters:
– You could throw it at them (raw beets are *hard*, and could definitely do a lot of damage thrown)
– Someone could choke on a piece, especially raw.
– They’re mostly round, so if someone happened to step on one, it would be ‘lights out and pass the crutches’, at the very least.
– For a lot of (weird) people, just showing them a beet is enough to at least get a nose-wrinkle.
Can you think of any other way beets might be used to hurt someone?
One week until you’ll be able to find Beet It on Amazon (it will be available in Kindle Unlimited for the first 90 days, and then everywhere in early October) and in print (everywhere)! Here’s what you’re in for, should you choose to pick up a copy:
The beets Tara Pyle grows gives her body extraordinary healing powers. But when she tries to share the bounty with her boyfriend, Colin, the results are devastating. Under the scrutiny of both the police department and the hospital staff alike, Tara turns to the one person who can help her unravel the mystery of her precious beets.
Check in next Friday for links, and a special release-day excerpt!
